This month we’re giving away a copy of the critically acclaimed film Metamorphosis: The Beauty and Design of Butterflies. Here’s a synopsis of the film:
Metamorphosis follows on the heels of past Illustra offerings, including Privileged Planet, Unlocking the Mystery of Life, and Darwin's Dilemma. It's probably true that with these films taken altogether, Illustra producer and documentarian Lad Allen has made the most easily accessible, visually stunning case for intelligent design available.
Throughout history butterflies have fascinated artists and philosophers, scientists and schoolchildren with their profound mystery and beauty. In Metamorphosis you will explore their remarkable world as few ever have before.
How did these extraordinary creatures come into being? Are they the products of a blind, undirected process? Or, were they designed by an intelligence that transcends the material world? Filmed in the rain forests of Ecuador, Mexico's Trans-Volcanic mountain range, and leading research centers, Metamorphosis is an unforgettable documentary filled with the joys of discovery and wonder.
To enter this month’s contest, simply scroll down and leave a comment on this post and include your e-mail address when prompted. Your e-mail address is kept private and will not appear with your comment and will be only be used for the sole purpose of contacting the winner which will be selected by a random drawing. Mired. Crawling. Unable to transcend.
Still. Quiet. Beginning to comprehend.
Changed. Transformed. Wings spread to fly.
New life for the butterfly and I.

I've always felt that the metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly gives us a clue about our own human existance and the glorious transformation promised to us. I attended the funeral of a disabled child many years ago and his parents had pictures of butterflies all round the church.
I also remenber going through a difficult time in my own life. It was January, cold weather, and I recall being amazed at the sight of a butterfly outside my window. It felt like a sign and gave me fresh hope.

Love your website and if this DVD is as good as the preview I can't wait to watch it.
My husband is an atheist and I need all the tools I can to do my part in showing him the truth. Of course God takes care of his heart.

This would make a wonderful Easter gift since the butterfly is one of our symbols for New Life in Christ and the Resurrection!!!
