Can We Sin in Heaven? Here’s the Poop
Lately I’ve been running across a lot of articles addressing the question, ‘can we sin in heaven if we have free will?’ I think—and this is just my opinion, and not based on any serious research—that maybe we can sin in heaven… but for me the bottom line is this: If you ate dog poop all your life and then someone gave you a steak—would you want to go back to eating dog poop again? Poor analogy I know, but it's the best one I've got because I really really really love steak… and no, I haven't eaten dog poop. – Greg

You are exactly right Chris. We could not sin in Heaven because that which causes us to sin (flesh, fallen world, etc,) will no longer exist. We will not be automatons walking around like clueless droids, we will still have a free will, but it will be removed from anything that causes us to sin.

Man, Greg- you bailed on thinking this through. The question wasn't "Would you want to sin in Heaven", now was it? So you think the answer is "Yes". Why? Is there a difference between us here on Earth that trust Christ and the "us" in Heaven that have placed our faith in Him? Obviously, the answer is "yes". Lessee- a glorified body, a perfect, but created being, a direct knowledge of God in all his triune nature. Reminds me of... of what? Doh! Oh! Of Eden...where we lived sinless and with, you got it...FREE WILL! The obvious difference? We've passed through the fire- with Christ's love and grace, we still know the Knowledge of Good and Evil- and yet we're righteous. The answer is: No, we could not sin, 'cause we "been there, done that". We know what sin's about, we know who Satan is, and we then will exist in a perfected yet wise state in Heaven. Our decision-making will be perfectly informed, though limited compared to God Himself.
