The Reliability of the Bible

A Christian without a Bible is like a car without gasoline — both won’t get very far. The Bible is a unique document in which there were 40 different writers that created the 66 books of the Bible. The Bible is the map for the Christian. It shouldn’t be a surprise that such a unique document that is critical to the Christian faith is often under attack for a variety of reasons such as: a man-made creation (no Godly intervention), full of incorrect science, or contradictory. There is good news though: none of that is true!
The most common objection to the Bible (and the messages found within) is that it just an old document made by man. (2 Timothy 3:16) People object to this point because they say that it makes the Bible circular reasoning (the Bible is true because the Bible says it’s true), which I won’t deny. However, a critical distinction is required at this point: Foundation of any subject must use its self to prove itself. For example, how would you prove 2 + 2 = 4? You could start by showing how having two of anything, and then adding two more of something makes four of those things. But what if I said that is circular reasoning, and you need to prove 2 + 2 = 4 without using any math at all. It is impossible, because foundational knowledge is always built on itself…
