The Ten Commandments of Apologetics (Revisited)

posted by Greg West

A couple of years ago I published a blog post entitled, The Ten Commandments of Apologetics, which received a lot of positive feedback. At the time when I first posted it, I had no idea of the what the original source of these ten commandments was until a reader pointed out that they were by Christian apologist Dan Story, and that they originally appeared in his book, Engaging the Closed Minded: Presenting Your Faith to the Confirmed Unbeliever, which is just one of several books on apologetics that he has authored.

Not long ago, through the Christian Apologetics Alliance group on Facebook, I discovered that Dan Story, (who is also an environmentalist) has an active website and blog, and that on his blog, he has recently completed a new series of posts revisiting each of these ten commandments. Each post in the series focuses and expands upon one to three of these ten commandments. Dan completed the series just last week and I thought it would be a great disservice to our readers and also to Dan himself if I did not feature this insightful series here on The Poached Egg for everyone to read. Click on each part to visit Dan’s blog and read each post in this six part series:
