Don’t Atheists Just Believe in One Less God?: Or “Why I Don’t Keep Looking for My Keys After I’ve Found Them”
by Andrew Crigler
This is a quote I hear occasionally from Atheists and on the surface of the celestial lake, it sounds great! It’s all like, “BOOM! There’s lotsa gods you don’t believe in, so what the mother father difference, sister brother!” Well now that the whole family is involved, let’s break it down like an 80’s metal band.

Here’s three reasons why this reason isn’t as reasonable as a well articulated polar bear trying to sell ice to his brother.
1) Christianity is an exclusive worldview. Christianity (along with most other world views) says things that contradict other world views. Because of the basic rule of logic (that an orangutan cannot be both an orangutan and not an orangutan at the same time), that excludes all other world views by default. If I say something is a square and you say it’s a circle, either one of us is right and the other is wrong, or we’re both wrong. There is no both right option.
2) If I find the truth then I don’t need to look for it anymore. Let’s say I was climbing out of a volcano after defeating a dragon (also known as Typical Tuesday) and I drop my keys. So I parachute back in and start to scour the edges of the flaming lava pit for them. Now while I’m getting a luxurious tan, I happen upon my keys. Yay! They are the keys to my success! Now should I keep looking for them?
