Pardon Me, Do You Have the Time?

One of the reasons that people are hesitant to get involved in apologetics is that they do not have the time.

I will confess that I have little sympathy. I have a full-time job as an associate editor of a magazine, I teach at a Bible college, I am an army chaplain in the reserves and I have a wife and five children. I doubt that there are many busier than I am.

When you say that you do not have the time, you may mean that you do not see apologetics as important enough to be a part of your life. I would then invite you to read testimonies of Christians who were impacted by apologetics in their conversion and discipleship. I would encourage you to read 1 Peter 3:15. What other aspects of the Christian life do you not have time for.

You may mean that you do not have time to learn about apologetics enough to make a difference…
