There are generally two types of people when it comes to discussing matters of faith. Firstly, the person looking for answers, and secondly, the person simply asking questions. Gauging motives can be a useful tool to guide your conversation in the right direction.
People either cannot believe or they will not believe.
The former is a category of person that with good reasoning and an examination of the evidence will show a receptiveness to the gospel that the latter will not.
