Jesus Under the Magnifying Glass: The New Testament and its Accuracy

Nearly all religions have a different opinion about who Jesus was, as the New Testament has gone under much scrutiny throughout history for its accuracy.  One skeptical view is that the Bible has been rewritten hundreds of times, therefore the writings from the Bible that are in use today do not match the original events that happened in the first century.  Another popular theory is that the New Testament was written long after the first century and the death of Jesus, making the writings in the New Testament inaccurate.  Due to the nature of who Jesus is claiming to be, it is sensible to put these documents under the magnifying glass of examination. If the New Testament Canon professes that Jesus is the only way to enter eternal life, then we should carefully investigate whether or not he actually did what the New Testament professes.  After analyzing the early dating of eyewitness testimony and observing the eyewitnesses boldness, understanding the faithful preservation and transmission of the 4 Gospels, and examining evidence from writings outside of the New Testament, one can conclude that the New Testament is a reliable historical document to know the truth about Jesus…
