Why Everyone Should Believe that the Gospels are Reliable

he four Gospels speak of Jesus the Christ. Together they speak about the life of Jesus in a number of ways. They tell of his virgin birth, his arguments with religious leaders, his miracles, his teachings, and more. They highlight his crucifixion on a Roman cross and his resurrection from the dead. But what are we to make of all of this? Are these simply untrue narratives by authors who were either duped or made it up? Is there a case for the reliability of the Gospels?
This post highlights a number of reasons why we should believe the gospels are reliable. This does not entail that they are 100% true, flawless, or anything similar. Instead, the gospels are something we should trust, and if we can trust them then we might have to rethink what we believe about Jesus of Nazareth.
